Growing up in a family of artists, designers, architects and other creatives my interest in design was apparent from a young age. I started doing graphic design work at the age of 15, when I created a logo for my brothers audio engineering company. Soon, I was designing for local charity events, school shows and for local restaurants and shops.
Fast-forward a few years and I was graduating from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art & Design at University of Dundee in 2015, where I received an honours degree in Digital Interaction Design.
The course was a perfect match for me - I could combine my love of design with my interest in technology and human behaviour. It was these interests that steered me in to a career in UX design.
Since graduating, I've helped an e-commerce brand redesign their website responsively, I've built an IoT city planning service with Brighton based design agency Clearleft and I've worked in the financial services with multiple clients on an D2C investing platform.
